You shoot and edit digitally. How does that benefit me?
Using digital cameras will allow us to capture your day with the utmost clarity and color reproduction. Once it’s captured as such, we can then edit the footage digitally, and experience virtually no loss between your initial footage and the edited master!

What is a montage?
Our montages are highly-edited segments which are primarily set to music. Most often they are used in our productions to make a transition from one part of the day to another, and also to begin or end the video. The following is a brief description of each:

1. The Photo Montage:
All our videos include one photo montage of up to 30 pictures. This can be made up of any types of pictures, childhood photos, courtship pictures, an engagement session, or a honeymoon photo montage.

2. Bridal Candid Montage:
While your photographer is taking pictures of the bride and/or groom getting ready in the earlier part of the day, we also shoot candid footage. We do not pose, interview, or become involved in the events ourselves. This becomes a segment within the video. Click here to see a sample.

3. Pre Ceremony Montage:
Once at the ceremony location, we capture the things which will make the video special for you. This will include your location itself, your guests arriving, from a candid perspective, and most importantly the bride and groom arriving. It is the moments you’re not going to see otherwise which we feel will make this especially important and cherished.

4. Candid Photo Shoot Montage:
While your photographer is conducting the formal picture session, we take lots of candid footage of the bride and groom and the bridal party. There are many moments which take place during this time which we carefully capture. Again, as with the Bridal Candid Montage, we do not pose, interview, or become involved in the events ourselves. Rather we document these events from a spectator perspective. We also do NOT shoot the same poses your photographer sets up. This is a waste of time, as your photographer is already going to be documenting that moment in time. We instead find other moments to creatively and artistically capture. Click here to see a sample

5. Cocktail Hour Montage:
We document your cocktail hour in much the same way as we conduct ourselves the rest of the day, as a casual observer. We take careful note of your guests, food presentation, and also the room, tables, and cake if available. We do not ask your guests for interviews, and likewise do not engage your guests in any fashion. We do not encourage or expect people to smile and wave for the camera.

6. Wedding Day Recap:
The recap is one of our signature pieces. It is found toward the end of the video, and may in fact close the video depending on your preference. It is an emotional and moment by moment way to relive the entire day’s events, in a short presentation which is set to music. Individual pieces of the day are selected carefully, and then linked together and set to music. Click here to see a sample.

7. The Prelude
For those clients who also choose to include the wedding day recap, we also offer our “Prelude” in additon.  This is a short “teaser” which appears first in the very beginning of the video, to highlight some of our favorite shots and events from the day, as a way of previewing for you some of the things to come. Click here to see a sample.

8. Honeymoon Picture Montage:
For couples who choose to, we include a picture segment of up to 30 pictures at the end of the video. We can also incorporate honeymoon video footage for a nominal fee.

9. Outtake Style Credits:
This in effect is another recap, which credits the people involved in a special way during the course of your day. These credits are featured on one side of the screen, while individual outtakes or bloopers which occur during your day are featured on the other side
